Dis heerlike lente, die winter is verby! Vir meeste van ons voel dit asof ons die koue berg van winter oorwin het en met elke dag se vroeër sonsopkoms en later sonsondergang, kry almal ‘n nuwe huppel in hul stap. Ons hoop julle sien soveel uit na die oorblywende deel van die jaar soos wat ons doen. Even though we look forward to the summer, we acknowledge the draught in the province and request all our colleagues and clients to help save water.

WThe 2017 African Regional Meeting will take place in Mauritius this year and be hosted by GWMS Limited. Herman van der Merwe will be representing HVM Audit Incorporated this October. Even though everyone in the office is very envious, we wish him a pleasant and safe trip.
Over the weekend HVM had the privilege to join Die Wingerd Primary in sponsoring a hole at The Strand Golf course in hopes of raising funds for brave young Mia Cara Ferreira who suffers from Leukemia. Vermeulen Badenhorst, Christoffel Greeff, Leonard Diederichs and Daniel Brink braved the windy conditions and despite the weather, it turned out to be a very successful day.

With the arrival of their first child, Elna Eybers-Jacobs and Johan, her husband, are proud to introduce their healthy baby boy. We at HVM wish them both all the best and happiness little Johan has in store for them and many peaceful nights’ sleep. (Photo is of Johan.)
But the story continues, as you all know, and evident on Christoffel’s face, seeing as he’s never stopped smiling the last few weeks. He and Roxanne was blessed by a son, their second child, on the 19th of September 2017. All of us are just as excited to meet their new baby boy.
