Asemskep is ons manier van saamkom as ’n kantoor om bietjie stoom uit te laat. Einde Julie merk die middelpunt van ons besige belastingseisoen. Dus het ons gekies om die middag van die 31ste Julie by die lieflike Wine Pod by Stellenzicht Wines deur te bring voor ons die Augustus maand met twee hande aan pak.
Met skitterende diens, goeie geselskap en glasies wat klink was die jaar se Asemskep ’n groot sukses. Dit is belangrik om in sulke oomblikke die mense en omgewing rondom jou in te neem en net bietjie asem te skep.
HVM Supports Parel Vallei Drama
HVM is proud to sponsor the Drama Department at Parel Vallei High School, supporting young talent and the performing arts.
It has been an incredible year for Parel Vallei’s drama, with outstanding achievements across several festivals. At the PV Playhouse Drama Festival, HEX was crowned the overall winner, with Die Hoop taking second place, Dappermuis fifth and Rooikappie tenth, alongside several additional awards.
The success continued at the Montagu Youth Drama Festival, where Dappermuis was named Best Production. At the ATKV – Tienertoneel, Die Hoop was awarded Best Production, while Dappermuis was named a District Winner.
These achievements showcase the incredible dedication, creativity and talent of Parel Vallei’s learners and Drama team. HVM is honoured to support their journey and invest in the next generation of performers.
Van Stellenbosch na Nederland: Bloemhof-hokkie pak Europa aan!
Terwyl die meeste leerders besig was om in te skakel by die laaste skof van die derde kwartaal, was ons Bloemhof-hokkiespelers besig om hul tasse te pak vir ‘n avontuur van ‘n leeftyd. Op 21 Augustus 2026 het Bloemhof se hokkiespanne die Kaapse Wynlande amptelik verruil vir die historiese velde van Nederland vir hul langverwagte internasionale toer. Die Bloemhof meisies het deelgeneem aan die International Youth Hockey Festival in Amesterdam. Hulle was ook bevoorreg om diesefde tyd ’n paar Hokkie Wereldbeker wedstryde te gaan kyk.
Nederland word wyd beskou as ‘n wêreldmoondheid in hokkie, wat dit die beste toetsveld vir ons meisies maak. Hierdie toer gaan nie net daaroor om teen wêreldklas-Europese klubs mee te ding nie; dit is ‘n ongelooflike geleentheid vir spangeesbou, kulturele verryking en om die vinnige Nederlandse speelstyl onder die knie te kry.
Ons is ongelooflik trots op ons spelers en afrigters. Dit is vir HVM ’n voorreg om een van hulle borge te wees.
Strand High School Golf Day
We were proud to sponsor a hole at Strand High School Golf Day at Strand Golf Club this year, a fantastic event that brought together local businesses and community members for a great cause. Our team enjoyed connecting with clients and participants on the course, offering refreshments and a few fun mini games before each tee-off on the 10th hole. It was a wonderful opportunity to support education in our community, while sharing a few laughs. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
