On the 5th of December 2025, the HVM team gathered at the beautiful BonteVlei Venue for a year-end celebration to remember. With everyone dressed in elegant cocktail wear, the evening was filled with style, laughter, and a well-deserved sense of celebration after a long year of dedication and hard work..
A special word of appreciation goes to our incredible office manager, who arranged every detail of the evening so thoughtfully. From the décor to the atmosphere, everything came together perfectly and created a space where everyone could truly relax and enjoy themselves.
After months of sitting in the office, focusing on deadlines and delivering excellence to our clients, it was refreshing to step away from our desks and connect in a different way. One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was spending time not only with colleagues, but also with their partners.
The highlight of the evening was recognising outstanding performance and dedication:

- HVM Employee of the Year: Stiaan Basson
- Star achiever of the Year: Elna Eybers-Jacobs received the award for 2024 and JP Steenkamp for 2025
These individuals truly embody the values of HVM through their commitment, professionalism, and positive attitude. We are incredibly proud of each of you and thankful for the impact you make every day.
And of course, no year-end function would be complete without some fun! The music got everyone onto the dance floor for a “lekker sokkie,” bringing energy, laughter, and a wonderful sense of togetherness to close off the night.
The evening was a beautiful reminder that HVM is more than just an accounting firm. We are a team that works hard, supports one another, and celebrates success together. It was the perfect way to end a demanding year and step into 2026 with gratitude, unity, and excitement for what lies ahead.

Nuwe Personeel: Verwelkoming aan Nicola Duvenhage
Ons is opgewonde om Nicola as die nuutste toevoeging tot ons span te verwelkom. Nicola bring ’n opregte passie vir mense, asook ’n sterk fokus op kwaliteit werk na ons maatskappy.
Haar toewyding aan uitnemendheid en haar vermoë om met integriteit en professionaliteit op te tree, maak haar ’n waardevolle aanwins vir ons organisasie.
Met haar vars perspektief en dinamiese benadering sien ons uit daarna om saam met haar te groei en voort te bou op die hoë standaarde waarvoor ons maatskappy bekend is. Ons wens haar alle sukses toe met hierdie nuwe hoofstuk.
INDUKSIE 2026
Ons het weereens die jaar afgeskop met ‘n spesiale induksiegeleentheid by die pragtige Webersburg wynplaas. Hierdie byeenkoms was ‘n geleentheid om oor ons maatskappy se waardes te praat en die opwindende planne vir 2026 te bespreek.
Na ons beplanning het ons ‘n heerlike middagete geniet, wat ‘n perfekte omgewing verskaf het vir kollegas om spanbande te verbind en te versterk. Ons het ook almal baie lekker met mekaar opgevang na ’n lieflike feestyd wat verby was.
Met die grondslag vir ‘n suksesvolle jaar wat voorlê, sien ons daarna uit om saam groot mylpale te bereik!
Bloemhof Girls’ High School Golf Day
Our first golf day of 2026! Stellenbosch Golf Club hosted the wonderfully successful Bloemhof Golf Day on the 12th of March 2026.
A sunny day to remember full of excitement, joy, and old fashioned competition. Golf days are a unique way for us to connect with our community from Stellenbosch and surrounding areas and this day did not disappoint.
Here at HVM, we are proud to be involved in such a beautifully executed event.
