Meet the Team

After matriculating at Hopetown High School in 1997, Vermeulen studied Accounting at the University of Stellenbosch, completing his 3 year Articles at Logista Incorporated. Post his articles, he held the position of Financial Manager at Juno Wines (Pty) Ltd, before being employed by ASL Incorporated as Audit Manager. Vermeulen joined HVM in 2008 and became a Partner in 2010 after qualifying as an Auditor. Currently he acts as the vice-president of the GMNI African region and is also a board member the GMNI Executive committee.
His field of expertise: Taxation, Auditing, Reviews and Accounting

Christa Niemand has been with HVM since 2008, after finishing her articles at ASL Incorporated. Her education is from the University of South Africa (UNISA) where she completed a BCompt degree in 2006. She originated from the Overberg and was appointed as a director in May 2021.
Her field of expertise: Accounting, Taxation and Accounting software implementation and training

Janneke graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch in 2017. While busy with her 3 year articles at HVM. She completed her post graduate diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2020. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in March 2022.

Elna grew up in the Karoo on a farm near Beaufort West. She attended Langenhoven Gymnasium in Oudtshoorn and after matriculating, studied at Boland College receiving a Diploma in Financial Management. Since then, Elna has furthered her studies attaining a Diploma in Tax and Administration of Estate and Estate Duties. She has experience in registration of Companies and dealing with CIPC.
Her field of expertise: Company secretarial, Trusts, Beneficial Ownership submissions and Deceased Estates

Adeline graduated with a degree in BCom Management Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch in 2004. During 2005 she completed her B.Compt. degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA). She finished her articles at ASL Incorporated in 2008 and worked with Money in Motion CC for 11 years before joining HVM in 2020.
Her field or expertise: Accounting and Tax administration.
